A Busy But Fun Week (Part 1)

This post will be super long as i mentioned earlier, there's alot of events this week. Finally the busy weekdays are over and HALLOOOO weekend.

Actually wanted to go the school graduation party tmr but then the girls dont wanna go )): But its okay cos we are going to MOS. Damn..it will be fun.

Rights, so lets recap for this week's events.

Lets start with...
Monday (24.03.08) - To the Zoo

Woke up really early like 10am and met up with my sweetest dah-ling kelis at kovan and had brunch at hong kong cafe. The food i remembered took a very long time to be served to us and we started playing on the newly found interest - HP organizer. Credits to kelis who taught me how upon using it.

Finally our food came but we dont really have a appetite to finish our food. After that, we headed down to the zoo as we are supposed to attend a briefing for the zoo trail on fri. We were really excited upon going to the zoo cos for me it has been ages since i stepped into the zoo. I would say that im really enjoying myself and i was quite surprised how my impression of the zoo have changed.

Our trail in-charge agnes was late so whilst waiting, we decided to take some pictures. There are really funny picture taking moments like there's a lady (from overseas) whom we requested to help us take a group photo and she took kelis's hp and thought its really a camera because she keeps finding the camera's peep hole. We were mumbling to one another whilst she's trying really hard to help us take and we had a great laugh. ((:

The briefing was great cos not only do we have free entry into the zoo, learnt a lot of "not - known to me" interesting facts about the animals and we managed to watch the splash performance by animals such as the sealion, penguins etc. Oh man..they are just a loving bunch. I was telling kelis how i wish i can work in the zoo. :p

I think the only bad thing is the super hot weather. Damn.. i was sweating like WOAH. LOL! and we did not managed to get any pics taken as after all its a job briefing. The only one we took is the group photo but i doubt the management will send over the photos.

So yeap, thats my day on Mr. Monday.

Wednesday (26.03.08), Morning - Official Graduation Ceremony

Finally all of us graduated. 3 years of hard work, 3 years of PBL and in a glance, its graduation day. Seriously, im thinking how did i managed to finish my course. Gee..but anyway i did..hahaha

Man, im gonna miss all my friends that i know and the facilitators. I guess its another new journey for us all regardless whether is further our studies, get a full time job etc.

Anyways my dad is also going watch me graduate and im uber happy. Initially he cant make it cos he got some business stuff to attend too. I was quite sad but on the other side, mum and bros are going down. But before the big graduation day, my dad called my mum to tell her that he decided to join them and see me graduate. Im really happy cos my whole family is going down to see me wear the graduation gown, go to the stage and get my cert.

So, woke up super early again. 6AM! It has been ages since i woke up that early. Surprisingly, the boys managed to wake up on time too. LOL. So dad drove the whole family down to school and reached school at 7.45am. I must thank Doreen for getting 2 more tickets for me so my bros can go in too. (:

When we reached school, i am really excited. First, i went to meet some of the babes - joanna, kelis & zann at rpc first to get the extra tickets. Then head to the TRCC to join my parents. My family went to the hall first and i went to look for the girls.

We registered ourselves and when to the standby/fitting room where we can see ourselves infront of all the pieces of mirror and started wearing our graduation robes. of cos we made fun of one another like hui sin making her robe into a shoulder off top etc. Then last call to ask us to get ready and stand in our lines based on our numbers. Oh ya..im at the same line as minmin, joanna, jolene & junhong. Finally its time to walk to the hall and at the backstage all of us are laughing and joking. junhong was telling that we looked like we are going to be in movie but i told him "yeay right we are going to be extras cos we will only be on stage like 20s?"

Anyway, when we reached the hall, mum called up to me, and they are sitted at the first few rows. I posed for a while cos my bro is taking pic of me but as we have to walk quite fast the pic turned out to be blur. ): Finally all the graduating class students are sitted and the graduation ceremony started officially by DR lewis bringing out the olympic lookalike to start the event. I think that the video is quite touching though especially the part that says "bye class 2008".

So, row by row the students started standing up and proceeding to the main stage to stand by. Slowly and gradually its our turn. Man, we were bloody nervous when we are up there. It was super funny when we are at the back stage and you can see all the nervous faces. LOL! Finally its my turn. I was super happy when ms linda chong said "diploma with a distinction, Chang Yoke Yee Lena". At the moment, i was damn proud of myself. Mr Lee told me congrats and my heart was "bump bump" *at a fast speed. LOL. When im exiting the stage, i saw mum showing me the "thumbs up" sign so i gave her a "peace" sign, smile and then exit the stage. hehe!

When i see my friends go up the stage and get their cert, im really proud of them cos finally all of us graduated. Im really happy to those that get extra awards too like dan feng, geok ling, yu ting etc cos they are really really hardworking and they deserved it. ((:

Oh ya..when some of the babes and close friends when up to stage, we screamed super loudly and some reactions are super funny!!! So when the ceremony is officially closed, we are all so happy that we wanted something to throw but too bad theres not hat for us. Hahha

We proceed out and took some photos. Im quite sad that i gotta leave earlier and did not managed to take more pics especially with my babes and friends. Anyway, i really enjoyed this memorable event and it will always be in my heart. It really brighten up my day.

Before i end this part 1 post..i wanna thank Geok Ling for reminding me that they did not give us our SLA record and informing me after she got the reply from the administrator in charge. Another person i wanna thank is Doreen as she helped me ask the one stop centre upon knowing that i did not received my SLA record. Thanks girls!!! you have been a great help (:

Going to bed soon. Really tired today after a whole day zoo trail with the kids, going mad over choosing my SIM uni courses & hoaxing my precious dog to sleep.
