Sex And The City

In the midst of blogging but nothing i can think of to blog now because I'm really very tired this past two weeks. Busy busy busy with events. I felt like i haven't slept for years! :(

Anyways finally i caught Sex and The City Movie sneak preview over at GV bishan with mum today. I am so excited for this movie to come out. Being a huge fan of the television show, I was eager to see how it would transfer onto the big screen. hehe, and I was not disappointed. (:

This movie totally carried me away. I love it as much as much as i love their tv series. I remembered how i gotta to catch the series over HBO during the whee nights because they gotta screen it late at night so that the kids would not be awake to watch! LOL!

What can I say? I think that they definitely pulled this movie off! It was fresh and funny, the characters I remembered and loved were amazing as ever. It was savvy, stylish and of course, sexy. My fav character would be samatha cos she loves loves loves sex. LOL! I'm just kidding. 4 best friends, 4 different characters ((:

Natural Disasters

I think im drowning myself in the excessive news of the SiChuan earthquake & Cyclone in Myanmar, from the China/Singapore/Hong Kong news channels.

Now there is the post-quake floods loom in china.

I still cant believe that all of this are happening to mother earth.

Thousands and thousands of innocent lives lost and it really really hurts my heart to see them being in such a situation.

I think it is a relieve to hear that china is opening up to its counterparts like singapore, russia, japan, taiwan etc for help in rescuing and aiding but i dont know why the military-led government in Myanmar is so reluctant to let in outside help.

Every little bit counts. As i cannot go to China or Myanmar to help them, therefore in my bid to do something for the tragedies, i am raising money to donate so as to buy water and food for the victims and also at the same time pray for them.

Another thing we can do is to purchasing the "peace panda" buns from any breadtalk outlets. The entire proceeds from the sale of the S$2 buns will go towards helping the quake victims.

Do what we can to help them.

HELP THESE VICTIMS REBUILD THEIR LIVES!

A little Update

Hello my little darlings :D Missed me? I haven't submitted a post in like for aaaaaaages i know, due to work and extreme lazyness. Hah! Thats me!

Another non-working day gone. Sad..the 3 day break is going to be over soon.

wheeeee on a happy note, baby’s coming back tmr. I'm suppose to join him to KL but i cant possibly miss the SMU welcome tea with dean so i have to reluctantly give up the trip ): but its ok cos our chalet is coming up and both of us are planning to head to somewhere out of singapore for a short gateaway before he got to serve the country. I'm gonna miss him )):

Baby always wanted to catch kung fu panda but its on the day he gotta enlist into tekong. He's really sad about it so i'm now thinking of other ways to catch the movie with him *grins (:

Brillant, everyone in the family finally know that i got into SMU when grandma unoffically asked about my uni stuff and the topic started of. LOL. Went springbloom today for lunch as they booked the private room to have a short gathering. The lunch's great as we had nasi lemak with losta prawns, wings, drums, otahs yadayada. I love the desserts my aunty made. It really made us super full!

Watch kindergarden cop when i'm home. Its one of my fav. movies of all times. ((: The kids are super duper cute! I love it!

The 5 of us are really funny today whilst sourcing for dinner. We only wanted desserts cos dad is craving for "ice kachang" and the fact that we are still full. We went out quite late and we drove from home to geylang, upper thomson & ang mo kio just to find what we wanted. To our dismay all of the dessert places cant seem to be found. LOL, hence we decided to just go to our fav. traditional breadshop to buy losta bread and eat in the car. Had the round of desserts at home instead. Magnum ice-cream WHEEES (:

I think this 2 weeks are really well spent. I spent alot of quality time with family, baby & the babes other than just working. I think for collegues wise, i am getting really well with them and lucky i'm spared with the politics if there is any. LOL!

Time to save up save up cos this month i have shelled a bomb from my pockets but they are all worthwhile as long as they are happy =D

The latest gadget in my home - Mr. PS3

I just realized that my neighbors at another stretch of road are so super rich. BMWs, Jaguars, Lamborghinis and of cos my dream car AUDI R8. OHMYGAWD!

Right, I have a marve week to begin!

Movies To Destress

I know I'm slow in blogging and i think the main reason behind it is, I'm purely lazy to do so. /:

So, some movies i have watched lately.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Caught it a week back on fri, with boyfriend and wee kiat. Super hilarious i would say and it's a must watch movie. Its definitely one of the best stoner comedies for sure with lots of XXX scenes in it. I LIKE!!! LOL

In the movie, kumar has got a really nice and sweet poem that goes like this..

Ironman

Along side would be watching Ironman with mum on mon. This movie rocks big time. Not only it is packed with a lot of action scenes, it has a really strong storyline behind it. An awesome movie with super great graphics and that oh so lovely sport cars * just made me drooling over that ohsobeautiful audi..yumyum!! (:

Just a lil update of what i have been up to today. Well, met up with that big head today. I am refering to ZHI TONG. LOL! We headed for lunch at subway and because of her i got to walk two big rounds to and fro subway at HDB Hub =X

I think we will be meeting up for lunch again tmr and it would be sushi this time round! (: I'm bringing her down to that super cheap and nice place where sushi is only $0.99 per plate.

Met up with mr boyfriend today after work. Wanted to head down to suntec for the korean buffet but i ended work quite late today so we hence decided to postpone it to next mon. We decided to head to upper thomson forprata. I will load the pics soon. Really tired to do it now. LOL!

OH YES! A pleasant surprise today when i came home. SMU letters (:

WOOHOOO!

and the CPF thing is almost solved. Teeheee

I feel exhilarated now!

Joy Fun Laughter

We met up today after work afterall (:

I missed them lots and lots and lots.

They are the ones that i will share everything with them not matter its sad, happy, stress, work, blaaa.

Thanks zann for coming all the way just to give a lil celebration upon knowing i got SMU's offer. I really need it and im glad she did lol. To kelis too, i know u are really tired from work and u still came to meet me..really happy.

I think zann is gonna rape me big time this time round cos i did not drive her home cos its so farrrr lol..k la i really feel bad but the next time round i will send u okay..dont meet at kovan or anywhere near my house though. LOL! Just kidding.

Yeay..anyway i blew off my stress and all about what im thinking about to them and i felt much better after that. Pheww..

Had a great dinner out with them today and though its just a dinner it really mean a lot to me.

All thanks to my family and dearest who gave their atmost support to me when im down and whatever pissfit i had.

Daddy & mum are really supportive of me going into SMU. Mum is extremely happy for me when i got the offer and dad was really interested in knowing more about it when i got home.

He told me that i should just take up the SMU offer instead of waiting for the rest and ask me to just follow what i want. He made me real touched just now by saying the fees does not matter as long as i am interested in studying. Mum too made me really motivated by telling me that the period of 4 years doesnt matter as long as i have interest in it. TEEHEEE!! im a happy girl now.

Darling is another one who really encouraged me alot. He is really a lucky charm man. LOL. He called me whilst im working this morning and told me to wait for a call from SMU cos his friend from the same batch interview received a welcome tea/congrats call and that i will receive it soon. I was quite depressed lately so i told him "hopefully".

When im not that busy, i went to log in again to the NTU join admission webpage and inserted my SMU application number. The day before i tried using NTU & NUS number but it just gave me an error so intitially i did not have much high hopes of the SMU number.

Then suddenly the window page was not an error message but a "SMU-Bachelor of Business Managment". I was quite suprized and taken a back at the moment i redid the whole process to make sure i am not wrong. After a while SMU called and told me the same conversation that darling told me that i will heard. (:

I think i am more or less made up my mind to take up SMU offer. Dad says not to wait too long then later they take back the offer. ;X

Hope tmr will be a good day too and hopefully tmr my cpf issue will be solved.*keeping my fingers crossed*

Before i go, friends that have not get their offers yet i hope that they will get theirs real soon too and of cos acceptance ((:

Its 12am now and i shall head down to the bed!

Im super stress la...

Stressed with just sitting & waiting for my uni application results (all my friends got their replies so fast and my so bloody asfadgfdhgfhjg SLOW!!!!!) Everyone seems to get their letters real fast and can you guys please come ASAP?? And to make things worse, the joint acceptance link gave me an error message when i try to log in..that means i am not accepted by any uni yet i think.. )):

Stressed with the stupid CPF policy thing i gotta follow and now i gonna think how am i gonna get my $ banked into my account without that CPF contribution.

Stressed with having do and worrying about this and that. I had enough really.

BLOODY SHIT! PIMPLES..you are making me even more stress irritating shiattt.

I really had avasdgdgfdhhfg day today. Im damn stress now..its rare to see me like this but arghhh its all because my stress is piling up..

Im gonna burst soon i think..just like my stuppidd pimples.

Suppose to burst out all my stress tmr with the girls but its last minute canceled again due to that operational maniac(OM) zann got.
