Supper!

Had a blasting time with dearest, wei ming & li xian just now. ((:

Went chomp chomp for our dinner..lotsa good food. Stingray, cha kway tiao, satay, chicken wings, carrot cake & super large sugar cane to curb our thirst.

After dinner its dessert time. Went haato but they didnt have must selection hence we headed down to ice3 for icecream and chocolate fondue. Yumyum.

Had a really fun time re-unioning and chatting about all that gossips. Double yayyness. LOL! Will upload the pics once i got the pics as stupid me forgot to charge my phone. Tsk.!

NUS interview later then singing session with my girls. Whoohoo.

Work & Having Fun

Finally, finally finally its over.

SMU's business management interview & khandi bar event on the 24th april. "happiness!!!"

I think after work started, i have been anticipating for weekends alot cos its where i can spend quality time with my love ones. Of cos, quality sleep!!

Nevertheless, i love working because i love the feeling of earning money and every day the amount just grow. "Wheees" Although it might not be a damn huge amount now, im still earning the bucks myself. And im becoming really aunty nowadays, saving the little amounts of money from discounts and it did not splurge for a long long time already. I don't feel the urge towards impulsive buying anymore. YEAY!! But i do spend alot of food nowadays though but to me, now i rather spend my money on food than others that i do not need.

So, back to working, ultimately now i just wanna gain experience and broaden my network base. The Khandi bar event yst was really tiring due to that damn heels i'm wearing but i ripped off alot of good stuff outta the whole event. I gotta know a lot of people from that event. (; The list includes the entertainment manager of "the cannery" who manages MOS, khandi bar, fashion bar etc under his name. He's sucha a funny guy and he told me that i can get private events hosted in his turf..thats oh damn cool la!!! Then i know the people in khandi bar who promises me discounts when i go there with my friends. Also we got discounts from the labels and everything. Then i gotta talk to expats who come over to our city for some business trips and i introduced them places where there's good shopping! COOL!!!

The new friends i know in the management are really fun loving people. We just barely know each other like from the rehearsal and the actual event, we actual clicked like friends we have known for ages. The models are also very nice people too, its nice coordinating the fashion show. Grins. Overall its a great experience cos i've learnt valuable lessons from the people there.

Talking about the fashion show, it got delayed till about 12am due to some circumstances so i accompanied Stephanie to give out promotion flyers and both of us really had a good time chit chatting and of cos both of us attracted quite a number of ermm.."ATTENTION" First whilst i was giving the flyers to a group of Bangladesh, they took that opportunity to take pics with us. Then it was the different groups of ang mos we met that kept flirting with us, then there was the 2 indian guys who just cant keep their eyes of my ermherm..you guys should know where im referring too. Oh yeay, there was belly dancing at one of the bars and i nearly sprain my feet cos im just too attracted to the dancing. =X Tooopid la me!

Back to topic, Oh yea, hui xin & shanna came over to support me that night with their girlfriend who happens to have the same name, hui xin. So nice of them to come down even though they gotta wake up damn early the next day. Thanks babes!! But the sad part was that the fashion show got delayed and they cant stay that late to watch the show. )): But i am sure that the coming events would be a much more successful one. Look out for the event that will be held at fashion bar and MOS ((:

After the debriefing and clearing the scene ended about 1.30am and by then my feet was already almost dead. The girls and i still cant forget that thought of having supper so happy we went for our supper cos we are really very hungry. We initially wanted to head down lau pa sa but then when we saw mac at liang court, we decided that we just settle there cos we cant hang in any longer.

Finally i can really take out my shoes and i walked around mac with just my stockings and the guy beside me whilst i was ordering my food was looking at me and he was saying "thats cool" and i told him "yeay! the results of wearing heels" That was a funny conversation la. LOL!!

It was a really a fun supper cos we learnt alot of important lessons of holding events, the pursuit of interest rather than just earning $, how to convince ppl to buy tixs from us etc from kyson!! Really good tips! So, we ended our supper at about 2.45am then the gang took cabs home and i was all alone to walk the isolated liang court. Its damn super quiet at the stairway like no sound or anything and im all alone finding my way to the carpark but im one brave girl. Oh!! whilst walking to find the carpark, i totally gave up on my heels and i walked with my stockings. damn shiok. Buhaha.

Lets flashback to the afternoon. SMU interview. I think its is more of a discussion than an interview? They gave us an article to read and its about politics. I heard that 1 out of the 8 ppl will get accepted. My group got some pretty good ones. )): Then it was the compo writing. It have been ages since i wrote a compo and my handwriting is damn ugly and its really messy. Hope the reviewers will have a good time reading. Grinns. I hope i will get a placing in SMU but if i dont, "choi ar", i still did my best. And thanks to my family, friends, colleagues & dearest who gave me their wishes. It really helped!! (; I hope i will get uni replies soon. So far, NUS called me for a BBA interview and no replies from NTU yet. My friends all received their replies already and im always the one not receiving any ):

Rights, with just about 4.30 of sleep, Its quite a rare thing that i woke up promptly to prepare for work. Grins, mum thought i would not be working cos yours truly worked till the wee hours and she was pondering why did i managed to wake up. Then i told her that, i wanna earn more money ma ahahha. LOL! Guess i have learnt the importance of money. Buhahah.

Pardon the long post...im going to check out the latest entertainment news cos i think i missed out quite a fair bit due to not checking it for a week or so.

W.E.E.K.E.N.D Is Here

Weekend!! YEAYNESS (:*

This whole week have been fun. Spent most of my time working but of cos after work is happyyy hours for me.

My collegues are great. I told kelis that i can diet whilst working cos i dont eat much but its the opposite =X I have been eating alot!!! LOLS! Stop giving urself excuses LENA!

Well, a lot of after work events though, grinnss. Met up with kelis love on tues for dinner and chilled out for a while at starbucks. Wed..~~i went out but i forgot where??? LOL..thats signs of aging.~~ I remember already ((: i went dinner with dearest and we headed to amk for my fav claypot rice then it was mac for some sundae loving! Thurs was with my brothers and we headed down to California pizza for dinner as i gotta interview just beside the restaurant. The interview went well, i got the job and its a free lance job as an event executive. Initially i did not want to go down but my bros ask me to go for fun since its just beside the restaurant. Happy bro-sis night out and we decided to make it a weekly or biweekly event. Then, finally its happy FRIDAY!! Wheees! After work i met up with dearest and we headed down to bishan to have dinner and we ate the noodles he's craving for. Movie after which and the movie is a must watch!!! 5 outta 5 popppies!! Simple yet fruitful night spent with the bf!

Rights, thats about it. Oh yeah before i go, dearest & the rest got their enlistment letter already. )): Wells, dearest & wee kiat is going in june and the rest in july. I will miss you baby..and of cos not forgetting the rest.

First Day Of Work

Weekends passed really really fast and before I even realised it, its good old monday already!

First day of work is quite good but my neck is aching due to the long hours of looking at the laptop and all the auditing of the samples. Say hello to Numbers..Numbers & numbers. Grins.. on the happy note , whilst working my baby is all lonely at the carpark but she gets a whole day of "free parking" whooot!! (;

The company is quite big actually and there have got a very nice pantry there but i dont dare to go in cos its still after all my the first day of work. LOL!! Oh another thing is that all my colleagues are guys so whilst having lunch with them just now, it feel a little uneasy especially there's ang-mos int the group and they eat really damn fast. buhahaha

Just now me and joey went to get his punching bag..bloody heavy i tell u i think around a hefty 40kg and we made friends with the aunty cos we got a common interest which is oldies songs. This is how i started the conversation with her. "Aunty, why every time i come ur store you always play so nice songs?" yadayada..so in the end she lent me the cd she's playing and ask me to burn it. ((:*

Perfect Weekend

Just came home from dinner with family. Went pizza hut for dinner then chocolate sundae takeway in the car. PERFECT WEEKEND! Yeayy..daddy told me just now that next weekend he gonna bring us for a buffet dinner..haven decided the place yet but most prob its ritz carlton again or to vienna. ((:

Planned for the next gf outing with kelis love for next week. "yeayyness" Its times that i anticipate to meet my lovelies and my friends because it is no longer school anymore where we will meet one another every single day.

Last week was supposed to be our W54C girls 1st year anniversary outing but its cancelled last minute)): Its not the first time that there are last minute changes and everything though. Its fun to organize outings but its not easy i guess.

All the mass sending and coordinating of the suitable timing for the group etc. I think the three of us are starting to think that we should plan outings for just for a few of us because its like everytime when we do the planning, what we got is disappointment because some replied really late, some went MIA and some dun even bother to reply. It really comes to the point on whether you guys appreciate the effort cos all the responses are always from the same people.

We do appreciate those who actually take the effort to reply and inform whether he/she is able to make it and at least it shows that our effort is not wasted. But others are just..MIA. Yeap, so we still have not decide whether we will mass send for more outings but we are getting tired of not getting replies.

Though i gotta start work tmr, i still wanna go out for suppers, dinners, movies, shopping, going to the bookstore just to read mags and books. Its life and life to me is not just about work and earning money. Its about having the fun at the same time and spending time with your love ones.

Kudos to those that are earning money for themselves because it shows that they are really independent and do not want to depend on their parents to give them money. For me, i always tell myself that im really one lucky girl because although i am working and earning my own moolahhs , my parents are still continuing to give me allowance. Afterall, im still a student. Hurhurs!

Anyways, work starts tmr though its temp and not more late waking up, im still looking forward cos i can earn some extra moolahhhs so that we can spend it when we go thailand. Damn, i simply cant wait to have a little getaway with my lovelies before school starts.

Talking about school, some of my friends got their replies from their university application already but poor me cos i have not receive any letters and hopefully they will give me a placing. Really happy for zhen guang who got into SMU and others who got replies from NUS. ohmygawd, smu interview on 24th and im superrr excited but yet im thinking how am i gonna impress the interviewers. Notherless, im gonna do my best!!

Okies dokies, im not sleeping that early cos im gonna wake up late on a sunday. Grinnss (; Maybe a movie in my room again with brothers. Also, im so bloody full cos me and kelis had our super full dinner @ NYDC just now and that venti green tea frap from starbucks. But all that chilling out was nothing but fun. My stomach is oh so bloated though. Oh and damn all those pimples. I HATE YOU! ARGGHH..u better stop coming out..popheads!! Opps pardon the tone. LOL. "at least its better then the guy at the Ishop" --> kelis love, you know what i meant right!! Rights, i will share you guys in the next post.

Airport Addiction

Kelis love & i just had a real good time at the airport again today.

We learned, played, eat, shop, checking out the gossip mags, chilled out at coffee bean, getta know new friends & crapped there.

WOOOOOSH.

Baaa..a short recap of what i did yesterday...

In the afternoon, we 3 musketeers (me & my bros) headed down to vivocity as gyver is helping his german friend to take pics of the SS Maxim Gorkiy that alighted at the harbour for a day. After taking the pictures, we headed down to Marché for some swiss cruisine.

Marché, located at the rooftop of vivocity, the restaurant is made up of almost entirely of glass windows and it really gives me the feel of al fresco dining and...yeayy its signature bull mascot is back! There have really great food there!! Rights..Starbucks next, ordered some take-away frapps, then to candy empire to get some chocolates before heading down to fetch mum.

Met up with the guys in the night at cini to watch Three Kingdoms. A good ancient movie indeed. Starbucks afterwhich and we chilled out till midnight before heading home. Oh ya..whilst on the way to starbucks yours truly did something so "BRAVE" that night. I ran as fast as i could across the road to the starbucks side cos im lazy to walk to the traffic light. Opppss..hah!! (";

Oh ya before i go..i have decided to learn a new language --> French!

Spell FUN

These few days spell F.U.N! Its a family week!! Everywhere we went, we behaved like kids and its totally refreshing! Laughing out loud, eating to my hearts content and sleeping like a log.

Finally i got my latest precious baby - LG Viewty!. Mum accompanied me down to starhub centre after our shopping on sat and dad paid it for me. whees. its such a pretty toy and i so bloody into it! OMG! Its really a beauty (:

Yet Again

Howdy everyone!!

I know i haven been blogging cos i have been busy lately. Not busy with finding work but busy going out to have fun and eat!! WOOHOO!

Look at the list on the events that is so long overdue that i will be updating real soon. Its really piling up.

but i will start with something terrible today!!

BLOODY!! I hate the "Windows blue screen of death" It scared the shiaattt outta me! Seriously! I was chatting with kelis halfway and "tak" suddenly the blue screen pop out YET AGAIN!. I attempted to restart my com for so many times and with no valid, there is not OS starting up. I tried taking my harddisk out and any other ways that will revive the old laptop of mine. Gyver managed to get my laptop back to live for a while and then blue screen again. -___-

Luckily, there is something called safe mode and i can back up all my files. After i finished backing all the important stuff, i tried restarting again and to my surprise, the OS started to boot up. PHEW!!! Hopefully the consequential startups will be fine too!
